  • 2 tubes (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 pound sliced Swiss cheese
  • 1 1/4 pounds sliced deli corned beef
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
  • 2/3 cup Thousand Island salad dressing
  • 1 egg white, lightly beaten
  • 3 teaspoons caraway seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. On a floured surface, unroll one tube of crescent dough and shape it into a rectangle. Place in a greased 13×9-inch baking dish and bake for 8–10 minutes until golden.
  3. In a bowl, mix sauerkraut with Thousand Island dressing.
  4. Layer half of the Swiss cheese on the baked crust, add all corned beef evenly, spread the sauerkraut mixture on top, and finish with remaining Swiss cheese.
  5. Unroll the second tube of crescent dough over the filling, sealing seams properly. Brush with egg white and sprinkle with caraway seeds.
  6. Bake for another 12–16 minutes until golden brown.
