  • 1/2 lb bow tie pasta
  • 1 lb mild pork sausage
  • 2 (26 oz) jars spaghetti sauce
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 lb cooked ham, cubed
  • Sliced pepperoni (to taste)
  • 3 (8 oz) bags shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 6 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Cook the bow tie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the sausage with diced onion, minced garlic, and oregano. Drain excess grease if necessary.
  4. In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer as follows: spread a thin layer of spaghetti sauce on the bottom, then add 1/3 of the pasta, followed by sauce, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and sausage mixture. Repeat layers twice more.
  5. Finish with remaining pasta, sauce, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and sliced pepperoni on top.
  6. Bake uncovered for about 40 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Let rest for at least 5 minutes before serving.
