  • 4 teaspoons minced fresh ginger
  • 6 cloves minced garlic
  • ½ cup brown sugar (adjust for sweetness)
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • ½ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef; add ginger and garlic in the last two minutes.
  2. Cook noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. Drain excess fat from beef and return it to the skillet. Stir in soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Create a cornstarch slurry by mixing cornstarch with water; add to the skillet until sauce thickens.
