Ingredients
- 3 packages Mrs. T’s Cheddar Pierogies (frozen)
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 (8-ounce) block cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping)
- 1 pound kielbasa, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a 4-6 quart crockpot, combine 3 cups of chicken broth with frozen pierogies, sliced kielbasa, and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Stir gently.
- Cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6 hours until heated through.
- About 30 minutes before serving, warm the remaining chicken broth with cream cheese in a bowl until smooth.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture into the crockpot and stir well. Top with additional shredded cheddar cheese and cook on low for another 30 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
