  • 8 oz rigatoni (uncooked)

  • 15 oz tomato sauce
  • 5 oz fresh spinach
  • Salt and coarsely ground black pepper, to taste
  • Red pepper flakes, to taste (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add crumbled sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Drain excess grease.
  2. Stir in uncooked rigatoni, chicken broth, heavy cream, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and tomato sauce. Mix well.
  3. Bring to a boil; cover and cook for 10-15 minutes until rigatoni is al dente, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add spinach and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes.
