  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 12 Colby Jack cheese sticks
  • 2 cans Pillsbury pizza dough
  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic (for filling)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (for brushing)
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef for about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat, then stir in minced garlic, taco seasoning, and the required water. Cook until the water evaporates.
  3. Roll out each pizza dough can into rectangles and cut into squares (4×4 inches). You should have 12 squares.
  4. Place about 3 tablespoons of the meat mixture and half a cheese stick in the center of each square. Fold and seal tightly.
  5. Brush melted butter mixed with garlic powder and parsley over each taco stick.
  6. Bake for 12-14 minutes until golden brown.
